Dutch Epidemiological Conference(WEON 2020)

These are exciting and challenging times for science. Digital and web-based technologies create new opportunities for prevention and clinical care, but also pose many new challenges to our society. How can we implement new technologies in research and healthcare and how can we measure their value?
Given how our online interactions have overtaken most of our ways of communicating with one another, we feel especially privileged to be able to actually meet, every year, in person at the WEON. At this annual conference hosted by the Netherlands Epidemiology Society (VvE), we aim to present and discuss our latest research in the field of epidemiology.
The 44th edition of WEON2020 is organized by the Amsterdam UMC and a central theme of WEON2020 is ‘Science in an Online Society’. WEON2020 will be held in Amsterdam on June 4th and 5th 2020. In addition, on June 3rd 2020 several pre-conference courses will be organized.
