Eurogia2030 Call 20/21

The Eurogia2030 aim is to look at the Low-Carbon technologies’ “state-of-the-art” in relation to the 5Ds strategy: Decarbonisation, Decentralisation, Digitalisation, Democratisation, and Deregulation. The CO2 emissions objective in 2050 calls for a rapid decarbonization of the industry and energy sectors. Consequently, the development of new decarbonization related technologies with a high Technological Readiness Level (TRL) and potentially deployable from mature industries should be accelerated and completed by 2030.

Eurogia2030 – Call 23 Summary

Subsidy: Varies per country

Deadline: 30 June 2023 (expired)

Funding rate: Up to 80% for SMEs, varies per country

Project duration: On average 24-36 months

Consortium: At least two companies from different EUREKA participating countries. The participation of research institutes/universities is welcome according to each country’s funding regulations.

Scope: Eureka initiative for low carbon energy technologies, the topic for the Eurogia Call are always the same, based on the 5Ds Strategy: Eurogia2030 will support innovative projects on:

• Renewable Energy resources
• Electric vehicles and charging infrastructure,
• Green and zero emission buildings,
• H2 technologies and Storage.
• Carbon Capture, Sequestration, and Utilization

The project should generate an obvious advantage and added value resulting from the technological cooperation between the participants (new technologies, standardization, prototyping, field trials, new or improves products, increased knowledge, access to R&D infrastructure etc.)

Submission: two-step submission process. 1) PO (Project Outline). 2) FPP (Full project Proposal)

Countries: Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, Hungary, Israel, Poland, Portugal, Spain, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, in collaboration with other EUREKA Member Countries.
