Innovative Training Networks (ITN)
The overall aim of Innovative Training Networks is to train a new generation of creative, innovative and entrepreunerial early career researchers. These researchers must overcome current and future challenges, and translate ideas and knowledge into services and products for social and economic benefits.

What is this funding for?
ITN supports formed partnerships of research institutions, businesses, SMEs, universities, research infrastructures and other socio-economic actors from different European countries to conduct joint research training and/or doctoral programmes. Typical activities include: recruitment, research costs, training and management costs.
Who can apply?
The MSCA Innovative Training Networks is composed of three subtypes; European Training Networks (ETN), European Industrial Doctorates (EID) or European Joint Doctorates (EJD)
At least 3 organizations from EU Member States Countries or from H2020 Associated Countries must form a multi-partner network. Typically, a network is composed of 6-10 partners.
At least 1 academic organization from EU Member States Country or from H2020 Associated Country, and 1 non-academic organization from another EU country, who will train up to 5 PhD students.
At least 3 entities from EU Member States Country or from H2020 Associated Countries, and at least 3 entities, qualified to award doctoral degrees.
Evaluation ~5 months, project will start after 8 months.
