For many EU funding programs, particularly those under Horizon Europe, call requirements stipulate comprehensive and inclusive societal dissemination about your research and results.
Catalyze, as a Consortium Partner in these projects, will create impact in your project through developing varying stakeholder engagement programs and gathering patient/public derived feedback, which better informs our dissemination – and your research. With that, we can provide a dissemination and engagement strategy with greater accessibility to target audiences.
We recruit and support Patient (or End User) Advisory Boards, ensuring the voice of the patient is heard and informs further project dissemination activities. Our Science Communication team has the in-depth experience in setting up patient advisory boards, internal dissemination teams, and developing collaborative public engagement platforms.

ENGAGING
We include relevant stakeholders, such as patients, early in your research and development processes. This takes your project’s communication strategy beyond a simple knowledge deficit approach, which is limited to a one-way flow of information. Research has shown that a dialogue-based approach builds more societal trust in scientific research. Our engagement activities enhance trust and awareness of your topics, which will boost acceptance of your results by relevant communities.
Case: EU Project Dissemination for iPSpine (Horizon2020)
iPSpine aims to investigate and develop a new therapy for LBP using induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). The project will develop an advanced therapy using iPS-technology and smart biomaterials that will be translated from laboratory models into a clinically relevant animal model. Catalyze is a project partner providing project management and dissemination services to iPSpine.
